Women's Ministry

The Mission of the Women's Ministry is to minister to the women of the church with spiritual support, education, growth and fellowship; and to provide Christian outreach to individuals and groups of women outside of the church. Monthly meetings are held the second Sunday of each month in the Chapel directly after service.

Some Activities Include:

  • Friends ministry support and service.

  • Bi-monthly Friday night Bible study (not exclusive to Women).

  • Monthly gatherings and outings to Monday Trade Days in Canton, the Dallas Arboretum, bbqs and swim parties, New Year's Eve and Super Bowl Parties...

  • An annual Women's Retreat

Food Cupboard

In an effort to support our members and the community at large, when emergencies occur, the women of the church invite everyone to bring in ready to eat non-perishable foods and easy to prepare foods to restock the Food Cupboard. This food is used to provide items to anyone who shows up to the church with an emergency food need. With the change in the economy we have recently had a surge of people coming to the church seeking assistance. Many times this includes parents living out of a car with their children. While not able to provide a long term solution we aim to provide a one time meal when we can. Please help by filling the shopping cart in our parlor.

Suggested items are:

-pre-made tuna or chicken salad & crackers (like the packages sold in our vending machine)
-pop top vienna sausage
-cheese & crackers packets
-peanut butter & crackers packets
-juice boxes or bottle (individual)
-snack cakes
-can openers (for can tuna/chicken)
